I spent Sunday-Thursday at the National Immunization Conference in Atlanta, commuting by MARTA to stay with John and Lynda. John posted a nice picture of us on the Wilton Drive blog, so I won't duplicate that, but will add this picture of me by Margaret Mitchell's grave.

some video memories of Kirby
To An Athlete Dying Young
by AE Housman
THE time you won your town the race
We chaired you through the market-place;
Man and boy stood cheering by,
And home we brought you shoulder-high.
To-day, the road all runners come,
Shoulder-high we bring you home,
And set you at your threshold down,
Townsman of a stiller town.
