Minnesota State Fair

Maria and I are off to the state fair this weekend.. If anyone else is there, maybe we'll see you there. Here we come pronto pups, cheese curds and any number of assorted fried foods on a stick!

Well, both Matt and I entered the "computer generated image, framed and matted" category at the Creative Activities building. Matt's friend George also entered. George got second place, and I got third and Matt got displayed ...

...by the chocolate chip cookies :(

Well, Stevie, it could be worse... tomorrow could be your eighth out of twelve days in a root beer barrel.

Liv worked an extra three hours last night as a volunteer at a certain political booth that shall remain nameless due to Anderson blog regulations. Strangely enough, after a half hour on the job, she was chosen to be interviewed by channel 29 news. She did a good job discussing young women and voting, and no one seemed to notice that she wasn't old enough to vote.
