In her "Russian Literature in translation" class, Liv read this story, "Fatal Eggs," which almost seemed like it came from the news. It was an SF-ish story lampooning Soviet Bureaucracy and described a disease that killed poultry (Bird Flu?), as well as a mysterious ray that could boost egg growth. For our family Easter Egg dyeing, Liv did an egg that illustrated points in the story - today it was my breakfast - but I wanted to preserve the artwork!

Easter Artwork
In her "Russian Literature in translation" class, Liv read this story, "Fatal Eggs," which almost seemed like it came from the news.
