Downtown St Paul

We were in downtown St. Paul last night for the Bush 2004 Rally at the Excel Center and then for a picnic at Harriet Island for the Builder's Club (which Maria's parents, who are homebuilders, belong to) While we were there i snapped this photo of St Paul at dusk.. It really is a beautiful city.

Nancy,Stevie and I spent last week visiting family in Illinois. Tom came down for the week end . The boys and I came home Sunday so I could attend a curriculum workshop and
Tom could go to work. Nancy was able to stay for a few more days. I just talked to her and she told me about the neat Spanish birthday card she got for you Liv. She says the card is in Minneapolis but she doesn't know where. So be patient please.

Anderson Alert! Our August 28 swimming party at the knoblauchs is being being postphoned until further notice. Bill left a message that indicated that he will be fishing in Canada that week.

The Elroy-Sparta Bike Trail

Janelle and I rode on the Elroy-Sparta bike trail this weekend. It is famous for its old train tunnels. I rode on this trail with John, Lynda, Mae and Ingrid back in 1992.
