50th birthdays

I spent three days on the North Shore with three friends from high school to celebrate our 50th birthdays (all in the spring).  We did a little hiking and a lot of eating.  We made fools of ourselves, trying to take pictures of ourselves everywhere... you'd think we'd never been out of the house before! The following picture was taken by a passing stranger on the boardwalk in Duluth when we saw the "50" on the red marker. Unfortunately, shortly after this happy scene, I threw my back out (riding home in the car!) and ended up in Urgent Care that night.
